Collection of permanent microscope slides of aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae), mounted in balsam-of-Canada, properly labeled, with over 80% of the material identified at species level and available electronically using the Bonabio (Microsoft Access) software. The collection is representative of the Brazilian aphid fauna, comprising approximately 93% of aphid species recorded for the country. The species were collected from host plants and captured with yellow pan traps, especially in the state of Paraná. The collection comprises 11077 slides, representing 63 genera and 140 species, one type - Impatientinum paranaense Carvalho Cardoso e Lazzari, 2004 and some paratypes. Access can be made by genus, species, origin and host plant or trap. Deposit Series in the DZUP Collection: 253660-264737.
